Now that Cataleya can breathe and move around at home, she's developing in hyper speed. I think she will be developmentally on track very soon. We are maybe a couple weeks away from her sitting by herself. Right now she sits up witht the boppy around her back. She's kneeling supported and tolerating tummy time. She's playing with some more advanced toys too- like cause and effect light up toys and nesting cups. She is really happy when she plays and it makes all the craziness of the past couple of months feel far away.
As far as her adoption goes, we got the application for adoption subsidy and emailed it to the Agency of Disappointment. They have to fill it out and send it in and they said they would... we'll see. We sent in the petition to adopt to family court and they are reviewing all our info. We are expecting the court to order a supplemental investigation- which is when they send a social worker who is not connected to us or our adoption agency to come out and make sure the adoption is in Cataleya's best interest. There are no worries with that. After the investigation report is accepted by the court, we'll get our finalization date!! The only catch is that we have to have the adoption subsidy approved before we finalize because it must be written into the adoption agreement. So if we come to finalization day and the approval isn't in yet, we'll have to push the date back. I am trusting that the application for subsidy will be sent in and the approval will come around the same time as the supplemental investigation. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a January finalization.
Cataleya had a great 1st Halloween season. We went to the pumpkin farmwith some awesome adoptive families and threw her into some leave in the back yard. She had several wardrobe changes- obviously :)

Oh my gosh, her grumpy face in the leaves and her wearing your glasses are killing me. I'm so glad her health is holding steady. And man, visits with Baby 4's bio-dad certainly keep you on your toes. How in the world did you explain that?
